Dusting
Our experienced staff cleans all hard surfaces from the ceiling to the floor. Because dust settles everywhere during construction or remodeling, we dry dust walls and may also wipe them down with a damp rag, depending on the type of paint or wall covering. We dust molding, ceiling fans, blinds or verticals, light fixtures, furniture, baseboards, and appliances. Regina’s Maids staff wipes down both the inside and outside of cabinets. We clean your windows, dusting windowsills and shining the glass. We pay special attention to those surfaces that are often overlooked such as lamp shades, the tops of doorframes, and doorknobs. After all dust and debris have been removed from these surfaces, our team sweeps and mops hardwood floor surfaces and vacuums carpets.
Vacuuming Carpets and Upholstery
During a construction project, dust and debris can become embedded in carpets, upholstery, curtains, and any other fabric. It is important to remove this dust because it can be an irritant to you, your family members, and your pets in your home or your employees and visitors in your office building. Our experienced staff vacuums all carpets and rugs using vacuums with HEPA filters to eliminate as much dust as possible. We also vacuum furniture and remove cushions to vacuum on all sides along with the frames of furniture. (Carpet and Upholstery cleaning is recommended)
Cleaning Air Ducts
Dust and debris can settle in your air ducts during a construction project. It is important to clean the air ducts and replace all filters throughout your home or office. Because dust travels, all filters should be replaced, not just those in the room where the construction occurred. Our team removes vent covers and cleans them with hot, soapy water before replacing them over fresh filters.
